Our greens and pavilions are opposite Monkseaton Metro Station and are bounded by Marine Avenue, and Norham Road, Whitley Bay.

North Tyneside Council own and maintain our greens, which are open from
April to September each year.
We play in several leagues each week involving both mixed and single sex games. This together with numerous club competitions keeps us busy. Members don't have to play in the leagues or competitions, but we are pleased when they do.
Join as a social member and play in the jumbles (green fees apply) or receive freecoaching
On the social side we have tea and biscuits each day, and have an annual dinner, and cream teas during the year as well as an annual charity day in aid of a local charity.
We actively seek new members and whether you're young or old, lady or gent, experienced or beginner, we will welcome you.

Royal Voluntary Service is a major UK charity (founded in 1938) that mobilises volunteers to support health, wellbeing, and working closely with the NHS and local partners.

Ham Hock Terrine (GF) - Served with side salad, toast and a drizzle of balsamic glaze
Homemade Scotch Egg - Panko breaded homemade scotch egg served with HP brown sauce
Smoked Haddock Fishcake - Pan fried smoked haddock fishcake served with homemade tartare sauce
Prawn Cocktail (GF) - Prawns in homemade Marie Rose sauce served on a bed of iceberg lettuce with bread and butter
MAIN EVENT
Chicken Breast (GF) - Pan fried skin on chicken breast served with creamy mash potato, seasonal vegetables drizzled with our homemade thick gravy
Homemade Chicken Kiev - Panko chicken breast smothered with homemade garlic butter served with homemade twice cooked chips and side salad
Fish of the Day (GF) - Pan fried fish served with new potatoes, selection of seasonal vegetables topped with homemade parsley sauce
Mushroom & Stilton Wellington - Served with creamy mash potato, seasonal vegetables and thick vegetable gravy
DESSERTS
Homemade Sticky Toffee Pudding (GF) - Served with the choice of Ice cream or custard
Homemade Apple Crumble - Served with the choice of Ice cream or custard
Cheesecake - Served with the choice of Ice cream or fresh cream

Teas and coffees will be available at a cost of £2.00 extra on the night.
No deposit is required, but cancellations need 48 hours notice, otherwise payment would still be required.

PAY AND PLAY - No membership needed Monday 12.45pm for 1pm - roll up/practice.
Casual bowling. Thursday evenings 5.45pm for 6pm - Bowls Bash / Casual bowling

FEES FOR 2026
The club committee have set the fees for this year at £85.00 per member, this includes new members who are experienced bowlers, and £20.00 per non playing members. New members will £60 for the first year only and then pay full membership.
Non playing members are warmly invited to attend the meeting and we would be pleased to see you at the church hall at any time you feel able to attend. Forms have been emailed to last seasons members.
If you have not received one, there will be spare league & subscription forms at the meeting.
